I am out of the bush and will tell you that I was mistaken. Guenter wrapped up his journey after 20 years and 20,000 miles. Guenter said that while it started with the goal of crossing the finish line, it eventually became his way of life. -brown

Brown Cannon III is on assignment for Stern in Alaska
I am off to Alaska in a couple of hours. En
route to meet, backpack and camp with Guenter Wamser. After 11 years on
the back of a horse Guenter has completed a journey from Patagonia to
Denali National Park. I am catching him at the finish line.
